Junior Hockey Competitions

School/Club Closing Date - 14 July 2023 Schools Indoor Competitions -Entries The West Schools indoor competition 2023-2024. This year there will be No County indoor hockey rounds. Entry will be made directly to West Hockey via this link https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=-Mr8aL5rOkmKzhhCEJS1wxYcqdnBF61LuhywLcL0OQpUMUFLNTE5SUFSNlBZSzRHSThLUzA4UEI5SS4u All Schools wishing to enter into the West indoor hockey competition will need to complete the entry form giving an expression of interest NO later than Friday 23 June. Schools will then be asked to confirm their place at each competition in early September when schools return from their summer break. Once entries have been received from schools the Committee will divided schools into qualifying pools depending on numbers and location. One School from within each pool will be asked to kindly host and arrange a pool, playing a league or round robin games. These games will need to be completed by Friday 10th November. Once the host venues and pools have been confirmed, we will get the playing dates out to everyone ASAP. The top 2 teams from each pool will qualify for the West indoor final. Dates: Girls U16 & U18 on Sunday 19th November and Boys U16 & 18 on Sunday 26 November 2023. Due to the continuing losses made each year at all West Indoor competitions it has been decide that the schools who qualify for each final will need to bear the costs occurred for pitches hire and umpires. Invoices will be sent out once costs have been finalised and Schools confirmed.
